Message from the President

Welcome to our website!  I certainly hope that our new site will convey to you the great pride that we take in working at Loos & Co., Inc.  We thought the best way to develop the site would be to put together a working group so we would have an assortment of ideas for what works best for visitors to our site.  We tasked ourselves “to design a web site that establishes Loos & Co., Inc. as experts in the manufacture of wire and cable products; helps new customers find Loos; serves the needs of current customers; and provides dynamic information”.  We hope you will find that our new web site does all of that and more.

While the country continues to struggle to recover from the devastating economic downturn that began last year, I’m struck by our good fortune in these recent months.  Although our business is certainly down from the past few years, we have a stable base of customers who continue to rely on us for their critical needs.  That steady base of business has allowed us to retain all of our work force without layoffs.  That insures you are receiving product from highly trained and experienced employees, not only now, but when business levels pick up in the future.  Match that experience with our vertical integration – we draw the wire, strand the cable, extrude plastic coatings, and make assemblies using fittings from our Naples Division – and you’ll find us to be unmatched in our offerings.

Having an inventory of thousands of items doesn’t mean we’re not on the outlook to expand our product lines and we certainly haven’t been sitting still during this slow time.  Some of our recent additions include Exerflex Pro™ exercise cable, Boeing PMA assemblies (over 3,000 items), well measuring line, knitted mesh, and a highly accurate Digital Cable Tensiometer.
