| PLASTIC COATED CHAIN |
| Loos & Co., Inc. has been awarded US Patent #3,574,996 for developing a method of plastic coating chain in continuous lengths This process envelops the chain in a plastic sleeve and can be accomplished on all types of chain. The uses for this product are many. When there is a problem of sound or rattling, the plastic coating reduces the noise; when there is a problem of chain scratching or marring a finished surface, the plastic coating softens the blow. Rough surfaces of the chain are plastic covered to protect hands and clothing. But most important | the plastic is available in a wide range of beautiful colors to enhance your product. A few popular applications for plastic coated chain are: children’s playground equipment, bicycle locks and locks of this type, tail gate chains, tie down chains such as on boat trailers, screen door check chains, animal tie out chains (plastic coating aids in preventing twisting and knotting), dog leads, and pull cord or signal chains. |
