Supervisor (Off Shift) 11/23/2020 Supervisor (Off Shift)
We are seeking a hands-on manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd or 3rd shift. The ideal candidate must be safety conscious, energetic, a decision maker, detail oriented with strong follow-up skills and self-motivated. Prior supervisory experience, a high mechanical aptitude and computer literacy required. Post secondary education a plus. Wire, cable, and ISO/AS experience helpful.

Loos & Co., Inc in Pomfret, CT is one of the world’s leading producers of Round Wire, Ultra Fine Wire, Aircraft cable, Wire Rope, and Cable Assemblies. In addition, Loos & Co., Inc. is the largest Domestic Producer of Mil-Spec Wire Rope.

The HR Manager performs a wide range of HR functions in support of Senior Managers, Department Managers, Supervisors, and Employees in our industry-leading manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include administration of health insurance and benefit plans, FMLA, Company policies and procedures, training and development, recruitment and selection, employee discipline, employee counseling, and regulatory compliance. In addition to remaining current with all applicable employment legislation, this role requires the individual to adhere to and enforce all established Central Wire/Loos policies and procedures.

10/27/2020 Mechanical Designer / Drafter
The Mechanical Designer/Drafter will be responsible for the development and preparation of engineering designs and drawings using SolidWorks or similar design software, writing technical reports, and ensuring design drawings conform to specifications and design data. Responsibilities will include the preparation and interpretation of conventional and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings and specifications for machines and components, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures for use in manufacturing processes.
