Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd Shift

We have an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician. We are looking for an individual who has excellent communication skills, organizational and written skills.  Successful candidate will be responsible for sampling all finished goods, determining quality levels, pass/fail of material, quantifying results, and recording the data. Will also sample and test incoming raw materials or work in process, as required, and classify by grade.  Our success is dependent on our ability to identify customer requirements, transfer design to internal specification, and deliver a quality product, on-time. Must be able to handle the urgency of a manufacturing environment while maintaining a positive outlook to insure quality goals are achieved. Qualifications include:


  • Inspection experience involving the application and working knowledge of a wide variety of simple and sophisticated inspection techniques and equipment, calibration, specification/blueprint interpretation, and quality assurance terminology is preferred.
  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment with an emphasis on production and teamwork through continuous improvement ideology, management, and procedures. 
  • Knowledge of  ISO9001 / AS9100 / ISO 13485 Quality System requirements would be beneficial. 
  • Computer skills are a must. Familiarity with the following software is helpful: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel),   Lotus Notes, and Infor Visual Enterprise.
