Extrusion Operator

We're in search of a motivated, mechanical minded, hands on individual needed to join our Extrusion team. Join us and help make a difference!

Our product line includes jacketed galvanized and stainless steel cable with various grades of vinyl and nylon for military and commercial applications. Duties include machine set-up from written instructions; tooling selection and  adjustment; monitoring of line controls; controlling final process parameters including  diameter; computer data entry; maintenance of computer measurement systems; and final product documentation. 

Requirements include:

  • 2-5 years of Extrusion experience with Nylon, Vinyl, Poly Propylene and Polyethylene compounds desired.  
  • Experience using a Micrometer and/or Caliper helpful.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, either in a group setting or alone.
  • Must be able to multi-task, follow priorities given, and have good problem solving techniques. 
  • Basic skills required for performing electronic data entry and documentation, as well as product traceability awareness and conformance.
  • Must be able to produce, monitor and verify product quality to customer specifications. 
  • Excellent housekeeping practices and organization required.  

Training on first shift but will be either a second or third shift position.
