Maintenance Mechanic

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, overhauling and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.  Candidate should have a well rounded knowledge of metal working practices with at least three years experience in a manufacturing or machine fabrication environment. Electrical experience helpful. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Machining assignments to include the reconstruction and repair of machines and machine parts.
  • Set-up and operate a complete range of hand tools, power tools, stationary machines including lathe, bridgeports, drill presses, grinders, polishing machines, burning equipment and the like.
  • Fabricate parts by cutting, burning, welding, dismantling assemblies and machines and recycling obsolete machinery parts.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks.
