Suppliers

Only by bringing together the many skills present in a focused supply chain can a company truly provide a complete product to its customers.

A Supply Chain Approach

Central Wire Group of Companies believes that it takes a team of dedicated suppliers to meet the requirements of the modern aerospace marketplace. Only by bringing together the many skills present in a focused supply chain can a company truly provide a complete product to its customers. With that end in mind, we encourage and support supplier development with the goal of compliance to ISO9001 based Quality Management Systems.

We make it our goal to only work with suppliers who:

Understand that the product or service they provide to Loos & Co., Inc. contributes directly to the conformity of the products we manufacture. Every cut, draw, measurement, and polish we request works in a larger system designed by our customers to perform a specific, critical function. Any deviation from our requirements will affect the final product. Conformance to our specification is a must.

Understand that the product or service they provide to Loos & Co., Inc. contributes directly to product safety though the entire product life cycle. Our products go into critical applications that often make the difference between life and death. Any variation from our specification will have an impact on the lifetime performance of finished products.

Understand the importance of Ethical Behavior. Loos & Co., Inc. is committed to fairness in all our business practices and upholding the highest ethical standards. We expect the same from our suppliers. If a supplier feels that Loos & Co., Inc. or any of its employees has acted unethically, we would ask that the supplier report such contact to our management team immediately.

Understand the necessity of keeping counterfeit parts out of our supply chain. Misrepresented product poses a risk to the safety and performance of the products we manufacture. Loos & Co., Inc. will not accept parts or work that have been misrepresented as designed and/or produced under an approved system or other acceptable method. This includes parts/work that has reached a design life limit or has been damaged beyond repair, but is altered to appear acceptable.

New Suppliers

To comply with the ISO9001 and AS9100 standards which Loos & Co., Inc. maintains for control of outside purchases and processes, we must perform reviews of all potential suppliers.

One of the first steps in becoming a qualified supplier is to have an authorized representative of your firm complete the Quality System Self Survey (form # PU-401-04) and return to the designated address. This survey provides Loos & Co., Inc. the information necessary to evaluate whether your company can fulfill our requirements. Corrective action arising from this review may be requested before approval is granted.

Existing Suppliers

While your company already provides products and/or services to Loos & Co., Inc., an authorized representative of your firm must complete the Quality System Self Survey (Form # PU-406-04) and return to the designated address as requested by the Purchasing Department. This survey provides Loos & Co., Inc. the information necessary to evaluate whether your company can continue to fulfill our requirements. While it is in lieu of an on-site audit, an audit may be required in the future. Corrective action arising from this review may be requested before approval is renewed.
